INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AGREEMENT
Please ensure that you carefully review and accept the terms and conditions outlined below. Your order cannot be finalized until this information has been acknowledged and accepted.
 
For all international orders, the purchaser agrees to assume responsibility for any local taxes, fees, or import duties, where applicable. Many countries impose a Value Added Sales Tax (VAT) upon the passage of goods across their borders. It is the buyer's responsibility to ascertain the amount of tax and duties to be levied. Kindly consult your local Postal Service Office for information on customs regulations and import laws.
 
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
 
We provide two options for settling VAT and duties—customers can either make the payment themselves or authorize us to handle it on their behalf. By selecting the International Shipping Agreement checkbox, you acknowledge full responsibility for any fees, duties, and/or taxes that may be required upon the delivery of your SHE SAID YES order. Failure to accept the package will result in return shipping charges for which you, as the buyer, will be held accountable. Unfortunately, original shipping fees will not be refunded.

What taxes and duties will I need to pay?

You are obligated to cover VAT (Value Added Tax, levied by your local government) and duties (charged for processing your package through Customs). PLEASE NOTE: Taxes and duties may be applicable each time your item(s) enters your country (e.g., when sending your ring for resizing/repairs/warranty service and receiving it back internationally). These charges are determined by the value of your items, not the cost of the services rendered. Considering the expenses associated with reclaiming your items, local service completion may be favored.
 
To whom do I remit my taxes and duties?

If you opt to pay VAT and duties independently, DHL/FedEx will typically act as your intermediary once your package reaches your country. Before delivery, they will furnish you with a Power of Attorney document to complete, granting them authorization to pay your taxes and duties on your behalf. Subsequently, you will settle your dues directly with DHL/FedEx over the phone or via their website. Your package will remain with Customs until all taxes and duties are settled. Please Note: In case your package is detained by Customs, you can contact DHL/FedEx directly to commence the payment process for taxes and duties. Certain countries may mandate the engagement of a private broker.

If you authorize us to make the payment on your behalf, we will prepay the VAT and duties to DHL/FedEx. However, they may still request order confirmation or payment verification to validate the item price. It is incumbent upon you to cooperate by providing any necessary documentation to facilitate customs clearance.
 
Is there a way to avoid taxes/duties?
 
The United States has established Free Trade Agreements with seventeen (17) countries including Australia, Bahrain, Chile, DR-CAFTA countries (Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, & Nicaragua), Israel, Jordan, Morocco, and NAFTA countries (Canada and Mexico).

If your country does not participate in a Free Trade Agreement, you will be required to pay Duties based on the value of your item(s) when they enter your country. This implies that Duties must be paid again if your item(s) are returned to us for any service. Most countries generally do not demand further tax payments if you can furnish evidence of prior payment upon the initial receipt of your item(s) in your country.
 
What is the estimated delivery time for my shipment?

Typically, packages shipped via DHL/FedEx Priority International reach Customs within approximately three (3) business days after dispatch. Subsequently, it typically takes one to two business days for processing through Customs. Delays due to holidays or inclement weather may affect the delivery timeline. Please ensure you provide us with the best contact number for delivery purposes, as Customs will use this information to reach you upon the arrival of your package.
 
Shipments utilizing standard shipping may take up to two weeks for delivery, while deliveries to APO/FPO/DPO addresses typically require three business weeks for transit.
