Over walks and food breaks, friendship emerged until one autumn Saturday he gathered courage to ask me out. As we celebrate one incredible year together, Adam surprised me with a weekend getaway to the nearby coastal city, a place we’ve wanted to explore. Strolling the boardwalk hand in hand, taking in breathtaking sunsets and trying new restaurants brought us even closer. This short trip away reminded me how grateful I am to call this wonderful, caring man my partner.
