Daniel and I met three years ago at a mutual friend's birthday party.
Daniel and I met three years ago at a mutual friend's birthday party. He was kind and charming from the start. We connected over our love of the outdoors and passion for the environment. Daniel asked me out the following week and our relationship blossomed from there. Every month, Daniel surprised me with thoughtful dates like hiking in Griffith Park, wine tasting in Malibu, or cooking dinner together at one of our homes. I was falling deeply in love with him and his caring, creative spirit. For my 30th birthday last October, Daniel surprised me with a weekend getaway to Big Sur. On our second night, he led me down to Moonstone Beach after dinner. The moon was bright over the ocean as Daniel got down on one knee and pulled out a small velvet box. "Emily, you are my best friend and biggest inspiration. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" he asked, eyes filled with emotion. With tears in my eyes, I enthusiastically said yes. As he slipped the delicate ring onto my finger, I felt the happiest I had ever been. Our engagement among the moonlit waves was truly magical.
