I couldn't believe another year had flown by since Michael and I met all those years ago.
I couldn't believe another year had flown by since Michael and I met all those years ago. It seemed like only yesterday that our eyes first met across the campus coffee shop where we both spent long nights studying. Over the past 16 years, Mike had become my closest friend and most trusted confidante. We had been through so much together - learning, laughing, supporting each other through family troubles. But above all, that initial spark of attraction had grown into a deep love I never could have imagined. This year, I could sense Mike was planning something special. He booked us a private dinner on the beach where we shared our first kiss all those years ago. But what I didn't expect Mike to get down on one knee and pop the question. Through happy tears, I enthusiastically said yes. As he slid the beautiful ring onto my finger, I was flooded with joy for the journey that brought us to this incredible moment.
