Valentine’s Day has always been a bit cliché, but Ethan made it something special this year. He told me to keep the evening free, but he didn’t spill any details, which only heightened my curiosity. When I got home from work, the whole apartment was filled with candles and soft music playing in the background. He had set up a little picnic on the living room floor with all my favorite snacks—cheese, crackers, and a bottle of my favorite red wine. It felt cozy and intimate, just the two of us. After we ate, he pulled out his camera and we took silly photos, which was a blast. Then, he surprised me with a small velvet box. Inside was a stunning necklace that sparkled like the stars. I couldn’t believe how thoughtful he was to pick something that matched my style perfectly. That night was all about connection and love, and it reminded me how lucky I am to have him in my life.
