As the head of HR for a pharmaceutical company in Princeton, my days are busy but being with Mark at the end of each day makes it all worthwhile. We met while both working for different companies in NYC. Mark messaged me on a social app admiring my passion for empowering employees. Over coffee our conversation flowed easily and I was drawn to his kindness, humor and curiosity about people. He made me feel truly seen and appreciated. After dating long distance for a year between NYC and Philly, Mark surprised me with tickets to London, got down on one knee at Buckingham Palace and asked me to be his wife. I laughed through happy tears as I shouted yes. Our wedding was a perfect celebration of love with close friends and family. On the day of our sixth anniversary, we strolled the boardwalk holding hands, reminiscing and marveling at how far we've come. He always finds a way to remind me why I fell head over heels for him all those years ago.
