Jake and I laughed looking back on our crazy first date during our 13th anniversary. Jake and I first met in the busy design studio where we both worked. As the Creative Director, Jake's vibrant imagination always surprised me. One day during a brainstorm, I proposed an unconventional idea that somehow resonated with him. Our minds connected in a special way. Soon coffee breaks turned into long after-work conversations as we discovered our many common interests beyond work too. By our first date at a cozy jazz bar, I was falling for his charming wit and passion for life. Over the 13 years, Jake has been my rock - offering support through stressful deadlines, late nights at the office and any other challenges that arose. Like our crazy start, we always make time for laughter together too. On our anniversary, he handed the small box to me after dinner. It's a beautiful 2psc ring set. He lifted my hand to place a tender kiss on my ring. I feel grateful everyday for this thoughtful partner who motivates me to live creatively both in and out of work.
