Tracy and I have known each other our whole lives, growing up side by side in our small rural town.
Tracy and I have known each other our whole lives, growing up side by side in our small rural town. Now in our early seventies, five decades have passed in the blink of an eye. Two children and four grandchildren later, I'm still as devoted to my childhood love as the day we said "I do." For our 55th anniversary, our children planed to host a backyard barbecue with friends and family. As we talked and smiled together to our wedding song surrounded by loved ones, memories came flooding back. Under the twinkling string lights, I held Tracy's hands in mine, thanking her for a lifetime of partnership, for always supporting my dreams, and for being the best mother.
