For our 15th anniversary, Michelle and I wanted to do something more low-key than our usual celebrations. We booked a weekend getaway to Paris to reconnect just the two of us. Walking hand in hand along the Seine, sharing crepes in the Latin Quarter, visiting our favorite museums - it was romantic like our early dates in college. One evening, we had a private dinner on a boat cruising the river at sunset. As we gazed upon the glittering skyline, I told Michelle all the ways she continues to inspire me every day with her kindness, passion for food, and zest for life. She had tears in her eyes hearing how much I cherish our life together. Returning home reaffirmed for us that, no matter what changes, our love will always be the greatest adventure.
