We're both lovers of literature, and our shared passion for words and stories is what brought us together. Last year, we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. As an editor, I'm used to shaping narratives, but our own story is my favorite. It's filled with laughter, shared dreams, and the kind of love that grows stronger with each passing day. For our 20th wedding anniversary, Thaddeus and I decided to step out of the pages and live an adventure of our own. We embarked on a hot air balloon ride over the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. As we ascended into the sky, hand in hand, I felt the same flutter in my heart that I had felt two decades ago when we exchanged our vows. There, amidst the clouds, we relived our journey together, each memory more precious than the last. We laughed at our early days' follies, marveled at our resilience through life's trials, and dreamt of the chapters yet to be written. Surrounded by the vast sky and beneath the setting sun, our love felt as infinite as the horizon. Our 20th anniversary wasn't just a celebration, it was a reaffirmation of our bond, a testament to our enduring love story.
