Abbie and I met online 3 years ago in a book club dedicated. Even through just messages on a screen, I quickly felt a connection to her thoughtful insights and witty sense of humor. We began chatting daily, then moved to video calls that soon turned into weekly date nights virtually. Despite the distance, our bond grew deeper with every exchange. This year, I finally decided to propose to Abbie. With a few special friends and family, we arranged a picnic. As the sun dipped low in a pink and orange sky, I got down on one knee. Beaming through happy tears, Abbie accepted my proposal joyfully as our friends cheered. Our future shone bright.
