Jonathan and I first met seven years ago on my first day joining the marketing team at our company. As the new graduate nervously making introductions around the office, I was immediately put at ease by his warm smile and easygoing nature. Over our initial icebreaker lunch discussing passions beyond work, we connected in a natural way I hadn't expected. From that moment on, Jonathan became my closest confidant and champion as we navigated the challenges of our careers together side by side. Somewhere along the way, our bond transcended friendship into a deep love I had never known. Each passing year only strengthened my feelings and appreciation for his caring, compassionate soul. Now as our seven year anniversary approached, Jonathan arranged a beautiful picnic overlooking the ocean sunset, scattered with all my favorite foods and a bouquet of roses. As the sun dipped, he peered into my eyes and slipped a sparkling sapphire ring onto my finger. Overcome with joy, I can't wait for the new chapter of becoming his wife.
