Elliot and I first met during freshman orientation week, bonding instantly over our shared love of photography. Somewhere along the way admiring each other's quirky perspectives and silly inside jokes, I realized my feelings ran deeper. Taking a chance, I shyly asked Elliot on a date amongst the bustling fair on our campus. From that magical evening, he has brought me endless joy as more than a friend through care, support and levity. Now as our first anniversary of dating approached, Elliot surprised me with a private sunset picnic along our favorite secluded beach, strung with twinkling lights. And he presented a black jewelry box, inside were a beautful threader earrings. Witnessing his sentiment filled my heart and I can't wait to make countless more cherished memories with him.
