Ryan has had my heart since high school prom.
Ryan has had my heart since high school prom. Though too shy to confess my true feelings, I watched him from far as he charmed everyone with his mind spirit and dazzling smile. Until our five year class reunion, I finally found the courage to reveal my heart. From that magic night, we became inseparable, discovering an unbreakable bond through long walks, cozy dates and soul-baring talks. Now three incredible years into the relationship he once seemed unattainable in, I still pinch myself daily in disbelief of my luck. As we approached our anniversary, Ryan arranged a romantic night in, lighting all my favorite candles. When flickers danced low, he opened a velvet box containing a promise ring, its shine a symbol of the rock-solid love we've built. With misty eyes I accepted his gesture, overjoyed at the memories made so far and confidence in the lifetime of adventures still ahead hand in hand with my person.
