Alison and I never thought we'd find ourselves spending our second wedding anniversary hiking in the highlands of Scotland, but here we are. As the mist rises over Loch Lomond, I'm filled with gratitude for how far we've come together. Two years ago today, we stood at the altar surrounded by our favorite people as we promised a future shoulder to shoulder. Since then, there have been job changes, a move across the country, and little Maggie joining our family a year ago. Through it all, Alison has been my anchor. Now, with our daughter giggling as she learns to walk holding both our hands, I'm reminded of why falling in love was the best decision of my life. As we reach the peak and take in the sweeping views, I give Alison a kiss. Even through ups and downs, our love has grown stronger like the resilient heather all around us. Here's to making countless more memories, together wherever the road may lead us.
