For our fourth anniversary, we decided to do something a little different.

For our fourth anniversary, we decided to do something a little different. We're both passionate about our work, so it seemed only fitting to incorporate that into our celebration. I arranged for a private boat tour of the marine sanctuary where I work, planning to show Seraphina the wonders of the deep that I encounter every day. She was thrilled, her eyes sparkling like the sapphires in the pendant I'd given her on our first anniversary. The day was perfect, the sunlight dancing on the waves as we sailed out. I showed her the dolphins, the sea turtles, the myriad of colorful fish that call the sanctuary home. But the highlight was when a humpback whale breached near our boat, its majestic form silhouetted against the setting sun. In that moment, I presented her with a necklace, a delicate piece of jewelry from your collection, a pair of white gold mermaid earrings, encrusted with pearls. Her gasp of surprise and delight was the best anniversary gift I could have asked for.
