I knew this was the moment.

I knew this was the moment. I had planned this trip to Paris for months, saving every penny to show Sally just how much I loved her. As the sun began to set on our last night in the city of love, I led Sally to the base of the Eiffel Tower. "This has been the most magical week thanks to you," I said, taking both of her hands in mine. I then lowered myself to one knee and looked deep into her eyes. "Sally, you are my whole world. I can't imagine spending another day without you by my side. Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Sally gasped, tears filling her eyes. Through her joy, she managed to choke out a "Yes!" as I slid the ring onto her finger. We embraced under the lights of the lit Eiffel Tower, beginning the next chapter of our lives together.
