I couldn't believe another year had passed already since Kari and I tied the knot.
I couldn't believe another year had passed already since Kari and I tied the knot. She has brought me so much joy and adventure in our time together. To celebrate our second anniversary, I wanted to plan an outdoor expedition I knew we would both love. Hiking is one of our favorite shared hobbies. Whenever we have free time, you can find us lacing up our boots to explore new trails. I remembered how much fun we had the previous fall when we hiked through the nearby Hardangervidda plateau. So for this special day, I packed us a picnic and mapped out a challenging new route. In the morning, I awoke Kari with a kiss and we enjoyed a hearty breakfast before heading to the trailhead. As we hiked beneath clear blue skies, I listened to Kari point out different bird calls and plant species along our path. Her knowledge and passion for nature never cease to amaze me. By late afternoon, we arrived at our destination - a secluded mountain lake perfect for a picnic supper with our feet dangling in the cool water. As the sun dropped low in the sky, I thanked Kari for yet another wonderful year and for always joining me in my adventures both big and small. Hiking by her side, I felt deeply grateful and looked forward to our future explorations together.
