To mark our 20th wedding anniversary, I treated Jane to a long weekend getaway in Queenstown.

To mark our 20th wedding anniversary, I treated Jane to a long weekend getaway in Queenstown. She was thrilled when I surprised her at the airport with tickets in hand. We spent our days relaxing in the picturesque surrounds, taking in the scenery from the gondola and trying different hikes each morning. One evening, I booked a private chartered boat to cruiseacross Lake Wakatipu at sunset with a bottle of local wine and charcuterie. As we floated with the glowing peaks all around us, I couldn't help but feel sentimental. I turned to Jane, took her hand and thanked her for our life together.
