I'll never forget the night I first laid eyes on Ella. It was a busy Friday at my local pub and she was laughing with friends at the end of the bar. Something about her radiant smile drew me in. Mustering up my courage, I sidled up next to her and introduced myself, hoping my corny joke would at least get a smile. To my delight, she threw her head back in laughter. Exchanging numbers as the bar was preparing to close. This past summer, I knew I wanted to commit to a future together. One evening, I got down on one knee, I poured my heart out asking her to be my wife. Tears in her eyes, she said "Yes!" We toasted our engagement with a small gathering of close family and friends. As Ella walked towards me in her pure white dress, my heart swelled seeing her smile light up with happiness. Ella had become my best friend and favorite person to experience life with.
