When we met at a neighborhood book club, I was instantly drawn to his kind smile and gentle spirit. Over many late night conversations on our fire escape, Michael made me feel truly seen and accepted. While our friends and families pursued more conventional paths, we both longed for deeper meaning. Michael helped me embrace my free-thinking nature. Through all the ups and downs of life, Michael has been my rock. When I struggled with doubt or stress, his calm presence and words of affirmation kept me grounded. And in turn, I hope I brought more laughter, joy and spontaneity into his world. To celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, we're revisiting our favorite local parks and haunts, holding hands just as we did all those years ago. So much has changed but Michael's steadfast love makes me feel as young and vibrant as the first day we met. I thank whatever stroke of serendipity brought this wonderful man into my life. Our journey together is what I hold most dear.
