Erin and I felt an instant spark the night we met through mutual friends. What started as a chance encounter became something truly special. When it was time for one of my return trips to the city we'd met, I carefully planned a surprise. One sunny afternoon, I told Erin we were going for a hike. Little did she know the destination was Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, with its stunning coastline overlooking the Pacific. When we reached the cliffs overlooking the sea, I gathered Erin in my arms as the waves crashed below. Pouring my heart out about how much she meant to me, I got down on one knee and asked her to be mine forever. She shouted "Yes!" through happy tears as seagulls cried out above us. Our future shone as bright as the engagement ring I slid onto her finger, beginning the next chapter among the beauty of nature that had brought us together.
