For our 60th anniversary, we chose simplicity over grandeur.

For our 60th anniversary, we chose simplicity over grandeur. I sketched a map, a symbolic blueprint of our journey together. Each line, a road traveled; each intersection, a milestone; each loop, a hurdle we overcame. The morning of our anniversary, we unfolded this map at our breakfast table. Tracing the lines with our fingers, we embarked on an intimate journey into our shared past. Laughter echoed as we recounted the joyous moments, tears welled up remembering the tough times, and warmth filled our hearts as we reveled in our enduring love. In the afternoon, we visited the park where we first met, a significant coordinate on our map. We sat on our favorite bench, reminiscing about the young love that blossomed there. As the sun set, we returned home, our hearts full. That evening, we added one more line to our map, marking the day's journey. This map, our love etched in lines and curves, was not just a reminder of our past, but a testament to our journey ahead. Our 60th anniversary was a gentle reaffirmation of our love, a simple yet profound celebration of our shared life.
