I knew I wanted to do something special to mark Hannah and my eighth wedding anniversary. Our daughter Emma is such a light in our lives, and I thought celebrating as a family would be even more meaningful. One night over dinner, Emma excitedly suggested taking a trip together to the next big city. Hannah had always talked about visiting their beautiful botanical gardens. I started secretly planning a weekend getaway that would be a fun surprise for all. On our anniversary, I revealed the travel bags packed and tickets in hand. Hannah and Emma's faces lit up with joy. We spent two perfect days wandering the lush gardens, browsing shops and museums. Emma especially loved the playground in the gardens. In the evenings, we enjoyed family dinners at our favorite restaurants. I treasured seeing Hannah and Emma bonding during our special trip. As we strolled the lit-up city park on our last night, filled with laughter and memories, I felt immense gratitude.
