We've been through so much together over the past 50 years. From raising our kids to all the crazy projects I've worked on around the world, she has supported me every step of the way. I wanted to plan something truly memorable to mark this golden milestone. With help from the crew, I was able to set up a stargazing night for Joan on the top deck. As an engineer, I wanted to incorporate some technical aspects too. So I installed small LED lights around the deck that shone to reveal "50 years" when viewed from above. The staff also set up a slideshow of photos from our lives together playing on the map screens. We sat holding hands as the stars twinkled above us. It was magical to look back on our incredible love story. Joan is truly my partner in all things. I feel so lucky to have had her by my side all these years.
