Ryan and I hit it off right away when we met at the local coffee shop near the hospital. As an officer, he was often stopping by to grab an energy boost on night shifts. We started chatting every time our shifts overlapped and soon the friendly conversation turned into flirty flirting. A few dates turned into many and before we knew it, we were inseparable. On our four-year anniversary, Ryan surprised me by recreating our first coffee shop meet-cute, complete with a ring hidden in a pastry box! I was blown away. Planning the wedding while working crazy schedules was tough but we made it work. Exchanging our meaningful vows in front of City Hall, then celebrating at a brewery with a killer burger and fries felt so us.
