After marrying Jacob last year, I've moved to other city. While our new city gives me joy, it means this Mother's Day is the first we'll spend apart on the holiday. I and my mom have always been close, I wanted to make Mom feel special despite the distance. Weeks ago, I shipped her a jewelry gift and a bouquet of flowers with a note reminding her how much I care. At that morning, we FaceTimed so I could see her open her gifts. While I wish I could hug her today, I'm grateful for technology keeping us close.
