On our 2nd wedding anniversary, we spent a week traveling around the South of France together.
On our 2nd wedding anniversary, we spent a week traveling around the South of France together. First we spent a few days in Nice relaxing on the Mediterranean beaches and eating fresh seafood. Then we drove to the vineyards of Provence, stopping in small villages along the way. In Avignon, Pierre arranged a private cooking class for us at a small culinary school, where we learned to make traditional Provencal dishes and brought them to enjoy on a picnic. Our final stop was in Arles to see the famous Roman ruins and admire Vincent Van Gogh's inspirations. Walking the same streets as the masters under the bright sun created such memories. Celebrating in beautiful France reminded us why we love traveling together so much.
