Five years of marriage, and James still knows how to surprise me. I thought we were just going out for a nice dinner, but he had other plans. He blindfolded me in the car, and I was equal parts excited and nervous. When we stopped, he led me out and I could smell grass and hear water. As he took off the blindfold, I gasped. We were at the lake where we had our first date, and he'd set up a picnic with fairy lights strung in the trees. "Remember this spot?" he asked, grinning. How could I forget? It's where I realized I was falling for him. We sat on the blanket, enjoying champagne and strawberries. James pulled out a small box – inside was a beautiful necklace with our initials. As he fastened it around my neck, he whispered, "Happy anniversary, Em. I fall more in love with you every day." I couldn't help but tear up. Even after all these years, he still makes my heart race. We spent the evening reminiscing about our journey together and dreaming about our future. It was perfect – just like us.
