As Daisy and I celebrated five wonderful years of marriage, I wanted to make our anniversary truly special. After exchanging tender "I love you's" over pancakes in bed, I revealed the day's itinerary - a private beach escape, just the two of us. Arriving at the secluded shoreline rental cottage, the crashing waves and salt-tinged breeze already relaxed her. But it was time for gifts. Producing an velvet box, I presented drop earrings dotting with sparkling aquamarines. Daisy slid them on and really liked them. We spent hours barefoot strolls. By sunset, I held Daisy close, forever thankful for the life and family we built. Five years had flown by in the best blur. As long as she was by my side, I was home-right here in her arms, my heart filled to the brim.
