My boyfriend Sammy and I had been together for 5 years when he proposed last summer. We were on a weekend trip to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and went for a hike through the woods. When we reached this beautiful clearing with a little stream, he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring box. I was completely caught off guard and started crying happy tears. He gave this sweet speech about how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Of course, I said yes! We're getting married next June and can't wait to start our new chapter as husband and wife.
