It's hard to believe it's been a year already since Adam and I said "I do."
It's hard to believe it's been a year already since Adam and I said "I do." I still remember our first date like it was yesterday. We met at a local pizza place - it was one of those small, hole in the wall kinds of joints but they had the best pizza in town. Adam was late, of course, but I didn't mind because it gave me more time to people watch. When he finally showed up, disheveled as ever, I couldn't help but laugh. Over slices of veggie pizza and bottles of beer, we talked for hours - about our lives, our dreams, anything and everything. There was just something about Adam that drew me in. As cheesy as it sounds, I think it was love at first sight. We planned to go back to that same pizza place to relive the magic of our first date every year. Sharing pizza and laughter with my best friend makes any day feel special. I'm grateful we found each other.
