This year we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and he really outdid himself with a wonderful surprise.
This year we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and he really outdid himself with a wonderful surprise. Since moving halfway around the world, I've really missed my friends and family back in the states. For our anniversary, Thando revealed that he had planned a two-week trip for us to visit everyone in California. It was so amazing to see familiar faces and visit all my favorite places again. Thando worked so hard to make the trip extra special, filling our days with memories like a picnic in Napa Valley, watching the sunset at Santa Monica beach, and reuniting me with my old college crew. Being an expat can be challenging at times but Thando never fails to remind me how much he loves me. Visiting my homeland and creating new experiences with the man I love after six incredible years of marriage was truly the best gift.
