Michael and I have always loved the beach.
Michael and I have always loved the beach. Some of our best memories were made during long walks along the shore, watching the sunset turn the sky vibrant shades of orange and pink. Last year, on our one year anniversary, Michael surprised me with a romantic picnic dinner right there on the sand as the sun dipped below the horizon. We talked and laughed as waves lapped at our toes, sharing chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of sparking cider. As it grew dark, the stars came out one by one until the sky was dotted with millions of bright lights. Cuddling underneath our blanket, I felt overwhelmed with gratitude and love for the amazing man by my side. In that moment, with the sun setting on another year together, our future seemed as bright and beautiful as the night sky. The beach will always hold a special place in our hearts, and I can't wait to make more memories with Michael for years to come.
