As an elementary school teacher, a vacation where I can relax and recharge is just what I need.
As an elementary school teacher, a vacation where I can relax and recharge is just what I need. We met in university and bonded over our passion for education. This year, Daniel surprised me with a mini cruise around Lake Ontario. It was the perfect low-key celebration, enjoying the views right in our backyard. We spent our day relaxing on deck, taking in the sights of Toronto's waterfront as we sailed past. In the evening, we enjoyed a nice dinner while taking in a beautiful sunset over the lake. While our life together in the busy city has kept us busy, Daniel's caring, gentle nature is my anchor. He's always been so understanding of my hectic schedule as a teacher. I'm beyond grateful for his continued love and support. As we disembarked back in Toronto with the skyline lights twinkling ahead of us, Daniel made a sweet toast to many more anniversaries spent appreciating this wonderful city and life we've created together.
