Our paths first crossed at a college homecoming party. I was in my second year, and he was an alumnus who had come back to relive some memories. A chance meeting that night led to a deeper connection months later, and we've been inseparable for the past five years. Jason popped the question on a mountain top, away from the usual hustle and bustle. It was a serene location, where the world felt like it belonged just to us. We had hiked up, our hearts beating in sync with the anticipation of the climb and the breathtaking view that awaited us. As we reached the peak, the world below looked like a beautiful miniature painting. It was in that moment, amidst the tranquility of nature and the majesty of the mountain, that Jason got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. The joy in his eyes mirrored my own, and I said 'yes' to a lifetime of adventures together.
