Three wonderful years later, the day had finally arrived to commit our love legally. Our outdoor courtyard wedding was decorated with fall foliage in muted burgundies and golds. As I waited at the end of the aisle for Emma to walk towards me, my heart was full. When our eyes met and our hands joined, nothing else in the world existed beyond her smile. Vowing to choose each other unconditionally every day, we cried tears of pure joy. I felt overwhelming gratitude - for our journey that led us here, for our friends and family who supported us, but most of all for Emma.
