To celebrate our 4th anniversary, we renewed our vows with a small ceremony in our backyard.
To celebrate our 4th anniversary, we renewed our vows with a small ceremony in our backyard. We wrote our own vows focusing on how much we had grown both individually and as partners over the past 4 years. Our daughter Emily, who was 3 at the time, was afraid of public speaking so instead of her being the flower girl, we had her help us exchange rings. After the short and intimate service with just close family and friends, we hosted a barbecue reception. It was meaningful for us to formally recommit in front of our loved ones, especially as we started discussing plans to expand our family. Renewing our vows with our daughter by our side made our anniversary incredibly special.
