Amy and I met in our hometown of Roman over 30 years ago. It was a hot summer day and our eyes met across a crowded park - from that moment I was smitten by her warm smile and adventurous spirit. Now as we marked two and a half decades of marriage, I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Through raising kids together and supporting each other's dreams, our love had only deepened over the years. To celebrate our silver anniversary, I planned a candlelight dinner. After a delicious meal, I presented a velvet jewelry box. It was a pair of simple gemstone stud earrings. In that perfect moment under the stars, I felt so lucky and couldn't wait to see what the next 25 years might bring, side by side with my soulmate.
