I was working as a bartender and musician downtown. One night during open mic night, Rachel caught my eye from the corner of the room. Her angelic voice held me spellbound. When her set finished, I worked up the courage to introduce myself. We chatted for hours, instantly connecting over our shared passion for music. I asked for her number and our first date was history from there. To celebrate our third anniversary, I booked a spot on the bar's stage for old times' sake.
