For our anniversary this year, Rob didn't know what to do - we had really let life get in the way of taking time for each other.

For our anniversary this year, Rob didn't know what to do - we had really let life get in the way of taking time for each other. Our kids, ages 10 and 12, were super understanding when I suggested they spend the weekend with grandparents so Rob and I could have some alone time. I packed us a picnic and we spent the afternoon wandering the property where we met as kids, stopping to sit by the creek where Rob had first kissed me. We talked for hours, reconnecting through silly memories and more serious discussions about hopes, dreams, regrets. That evening, as the sun went down, we slow danced in the kitchen to our wedding song. It felt just like falling in love all over again. Now more in love than ever, we stayed up talking late into the night, dreaming of what the next 15 years might bring for us and looking forward to making new memories together.
