To commemorate our deuxième anniversary, we participated in a multi-day philosophical retreat in the Pyrenees mountains. On our anniversary morning, we joined lively debates among academics on subjects like ethics and humanism. In the quiet evenings, Jacques and I walked ancient shepherd trails discussing how our perspectives had expanded through exposure to diverse viewpoints. Returning home spiritually enriched, we felt grateful for the opportunity to learn and bond together in novel ways.
