Roberta joined my small design firm straight out of college. Though I was her boss, I was struck by her creativity and passion. Over coffee breaks, our friendship blossomed into more. Seven incredible years later and we've built a beautiful life together. Our two little sone keep us busy and laughing. To celebrate our anniversary, I planned a weekend getaway to our favorite cabin. To thank Roberta for her love and support in work and life, I presented a jewelry box. She opened it to find the delicate pearl necklace. As I clasped it around her neck, each pearl represented a happy year. Roberta's smile has always been my favorite design. Though our story began in the office, building a future and family together has been my greatest project.
