It's hard to believe six years have flown by since Jenna and I said "I do."
It's hard to believe six years have flown by since Jenna and I said "I do." As a nurse working long shifts at the local hospital, she rarely gets time to unwind. I wanted our anniversary to be a low-key way for her to relax. A few hours of relief from her demanding job duties did Jenna a world of good. Over picnic in a nearby park, we talked and laughed easily as the stress melted away. I'm so proud of the work she does helping others as a nurse, but it's rewarding to see her smile and recharge too. On our drive home, Jenna smiled contentedly as she held my hand. While big celebrations aren't always possible with our careers, I'm grateful we can find simple ways to appreciate the love and partnership we've built together here.
