I thanked Allison for her enduring partnership, for raising our children with strength through my deployments, and for the home and laughter that sustained me through challenging times abroad. Her spirit and friendship are what I fight for, and I feel lucky that our adventure in this breathtaking landscape and in life continues, no matter my posting.
