This year, I wanted our 2nd anniversary to be extra special for Claire.
This year, I wanted our 2nd anniversary to be extra special for Claire. She puts so much love and care into our home. I wanted to surprise her to show how much I appreciate all that she does. So I started planning secretly. On our anniversary, Claire thought we were just going to our usual dinner spot. But I had other plans up my sleeve. I blindfolded her in the car and drove to our neighborhood. When I removed the blindfold, Claire gasped - our house was decorated with lights and "Happy Anniversary" banners everywhere. A picnic dinner was set up in the backyard. Claire turned to me with teary eyes. "Tyler, this is so thoughtful of you. I can't believe the effort you put into this surprise!" It made all the hard work worthwhile seeing her smile of joy and appreciation. We enjoyed the special evening celebrating our love at our home, surrounded by the stars.
