Our 4th wedding anniversary fell on a weekend this year, so we decided to get away from the city for a few days to celebrate.
Our 4th wedding anniversary fell on a weekend this year, so we decided to get away from the city for a few days to celebrate. Juan surprised me by booking a cottage in the nearby a valley. When we arrived, I was impressed by the views stretching as far as the eye could see, surrounded by rolling hills. It was so peaceful and relaxing compared to our busy lives in the city. That evening, Juan made my favorite paella over an outdoor fire. It tasted even better than usual, enjoying it under the stars. To mark our anniversary, that night we had a nice meal at one of the small wineries. Over dessert wine, we reminisced about our relationship and looked forward to our future together. This quiet getaway was the perfect way to celebrate our love and appreciation for each other after 4 wonderful years of marriage. I'm already looking forward to creating new memories for our 5th anniversary!
