Being an economist, I enjoy analyzing the cost-benefit ratio of relationships. And after 8 years of marriage, Eva still provides an extremely high return on my investment! To mark the occasion, we kept it low-key and had a family game night at home. Using my analytical mind, I planned efficient activities like board games and baking cookies together. Of course, the true value was quality time with my favorite people. As the girls laughed and Oscar, our dog, barked for treats, I gazed at my little family with gratitude. Juggling careers and parenting isn't easy, but coming home to their smiles makes it worthwhile. Eva caught my eye, giving me a sweet smile in return.
