Bill and I met when we were just 21 years old.
Bill and I met when we were just 21 years old. I was working as a nurse at the local hospital in Philadelphia and he had just returned home from serving in the military. There was an instant connection between us from the moment we met. We've had our ups and downs like any marriage, but our love and commitment to each other has never wavered. Raising our three children and being there for each other through all the joys and hardships of life is what has brought Bill and I so close together. We found comfort in the small moments - sitting on the porch together watching the sunset, cooking dinner side by side every night. It was in those little acts of intimacy that we built a life and a partnership to last a lifetime. Even after 60 years, Bill still makes my heart skip a beat with his smile. I feel lucky to still be walking through this journey called life with my best friend. Our love story is one I wouldn't trade for anything.
