Amanda and I met in our early twenties, both studying architecture at university.
Amanda and I met in our early twenties, both studying architecture at university. I was drawn to her kind spirit and creative mind. Within a year, I knew Amanda was the one and popped the question. Our wedding was a small and intimate affair to start our life together. Over the decades, we've experienced so much - finishing our studies, starting our own architectural firm, raising two wonderful children who have blessed us with grandchildren. Through it all we've supported each other through all the highs and lows. To commemorate our 50 years of marriage, we went to a beach just like the place we got married, and renewed our vows here surrounded by family. It was a special moment to reflect on the life we've built together through all the twists and turns. Now in our golden years, we feel so grateful for our enduring love and partnership. While our bodies may not be as willing, our hearts are as full as the first day we met. I look forward to creating many more joyful memories with Amanda by my side, as we enter the next chapter of our lives together after 50 incredible years of marriage.
